Idk how familiar you are with hakama so I’ll put some helpful stuff here. Sorry it’ll be a bit long xP

So the hakama pants go over the robe. You tie the back of the robe up so you can walk. Then you tie the front part of the hakama. Hook the back part on the obi and bring the stings forward to tie it in the front.

So basically it’s a black inner robe, red robe over it and a dark (almost black) hakama on top. He sometimes ties the sleeves to do chores (tasuki).
